DESCRIPTION:A practical beginner's course for anyone who wants to get sta
 rted with LaTeX.\n\nLaTeX is a command based system which is known to cre
 ate nice-looking and well-structured documents. In addition\, the system
  has great support for mathematical expressions.\n\nThe University Librar
 y now offers beginners' LaTeX courses for students and employees who wan
 t to get started with LaTeX. Since this course is a beginner's course\,
  no previous knowledge of LaTeX is necessary in order to participate. We 
 also have an advanced LaTeX course it is possible to sign up for once you
  have attended the beginners' course.\n\nThe course will start with a gen
 eral introduction to LaTeX. You will also learn how to create a LaTeX doc
 ument\, how to format your documents\, how to add text\, lists\, figures
 \, tables and mathematical expressions.\n\nThe course is built around pra
 ctical examples which will be shown in Overleaf\, which every NTNU stude
 nt can use freely. Overleaf is a cloud tool\, and you do not need to inst
 all additional software to join the course. \n\nThe University Library's
  LaTeX course is digital\, and will be taught in The Virtual Library. Th
 e course will be held in English.\n\nNB: The course could be cancelled if
  very few has signed up. If this happens\, we will let you know the day
