DESCRIPTION:An advanced course for anyone who is already acquainted with 
 LaTeX\, and wants to learn more.\n\nLaTeX is a command based system which
  is known to create nice-looking and well-structured documents. In additi
 on\, the system has great support for mathematical expressions.\n\nThe Un
 iversity Library now offers LaTeX courses for students about to start wor
 king on a bachelor or a master thesis\, and PhD students who want to use 
 LaTeX for writing their PhD thesis. We also have a LaTeX course for beg
 inners.\n\nThis course is an advanced course\, and you will get the most 
 out of the course if you already have some experience with LaTeX\, and yo
 u know the basics. The course will cover more advanced topics you will ne
 ed when writing a thesis or an academic text in LaTeX. During the course
 \, you will learn how to use subfigures\, create advanced tables\, and in
 sert lists of figures and tables into your documents. We will also cover 
 including appendices in a thesis\, using abbreviations\, changing the pag
 e numbering system of a document\, and last but not least how to create c
 ommands with custom output.\n\nThe course is built around practical examp
 les which will be shown in Overleaf\, which every NTNU student can use f
 reely. Overleaf is a cloud tool\, and you do not need to install addition
 al software to join the course. \n\nThe University Library's LaTeX cours
 e is digital\, and will be taught in The Virtual Library. The course wil
 l be held in English.\n\nNB: The course could be cancelled if very few h
 as signed up. If this happens\, we will let you know the day before the
